We live 2 1/2 miles from the ocean and Hurricane Ophelia is knocking on our door tonight. It is in no way a Katrina, but we will probably be waking up to 70 mph winds with gusts up to 90. It is funny, but one of my dogs "Jenny" has not left my side today. I actually wondered if she "felt something". Animal instinct is amazing. We might get 15 inches of rain. We'll see. We are lucky though. It is only a category 1. My heart still aches for the people and animals in the gulf area.

Take Care, Weezie!! Hug your sheepie!
I've been trying to get in touch with my best friend who lives there this morning, too. I'm sure they're fine. I'd like to touch base, though. |
We will keep you in our prayers. Sheepie hugs to you. I almost wish we could get that 15" of rain here.
Stay Safe!
You're in our thoughts and prayers! Stay safe and well.

Thanks to all. We fared well. Trees down and brush everywhere. Sheep did fine! Now our other dog "Jenny" did not leave our side all day. We tripped over her a few times. Thanks again to all my sheepie friends.
Happy to hear that all is well with you and your furbabies. Hopefully the rain won't get to ya.
Yay!
Great news!
