Congratulations. I am sure you are going to love your new puppy. I have a 3 year old female OES, Margaret Anne de Queretaro. I bought her from a mall pet shop when she was barely 3 months old. Margaret has NEVER given me any problem, she has a beautiful disposition, is loyal and loving. When she was a puppy, she started to make a mess in the floor just once and I said "Hey, don´t do that." And she never again did. She´s never gotten on the furniture, never made any kind of mess in the house, never chewed on shoes, she was an adult before I ever heard her bark, is gentle and loving with the neighbor kids, protective of me, she leash trained the first time out. I don´t think you can get a better breed than an OES.

Good luck!

LOL I have a load of stories- Our old sheepie Barnaby was an angel sweet gentle playful and HUGE (made it up to 144lbs) but loved to chase us and try to lick all over you when he was a pup.

On the other hand our new pup Feziwig is a fluffy lil monster! :? He gets into everything, is stubborn and does the weirdest things. (ex: sticking his whole head under the snow, attacking the dustpan and un-doing all your shoelaces) He needs a obedience class which we're looking into right now! I guess it all depends on the sheepie.

Let us know how it goes and share some good stories! :)
felix has been with us for a little over a week, and he is fantastic! he gets along fantastically with his big brother chester (a chow/golden mix) and is already champing at the bit to play with all the big labs, shepards, weims, and goldens in the park. he's a big, goofy ham, and it's hilarious trying to watching him run and play in his rapidly-growing puppy body. and today we had our first no-accidents-in-the-house day! he already knows sit, down, c'mere, and to ask when he has to go out to go potty, so clearly, he's adorable *and* a genius. cutest. puppy. ever.

we love felix!!
Congratulations!
Abbi wasn't that good to start with, but I wouldn't have her any other way now.
Enjoy the good days and remember them for those times when they aren't so perfect! Get some photos. Everyone loves puppy photos.
