Tumors on Mastiffs

I am trying to find someone that has a Mastiff or large breed dog that has had a vascular tumor removed. Was it cancer, does anyone know if it involves the vessels if it is more prone to be cancer. I am petrified that my dog has cancer, I will not find out the results until Wed.

I'm very sorry to hear of your dog's illness. I don't have any experience with this at all, just wanted to express my concern for you and your dog.
I have a Mastiff who had a few bumps last year. I immediately went to the vet and they assured me all was ok and removed it. Now, my Elmo has at least 10 more (year later) and my vet is saying it is probabley cancer. I am completely devestated and waiting for results. Elmo is 5 years old and my best friend, I will do whatever it takes but just wonder if my vet did.
My last dog had tumors and twice she had them removed. I think the first was around 12 years and the second at 14 years. Well she lived until 16 years old and she was a big dog. So don't rule out the will and strength of a loving dog.
