IT was NOT what we were expecting to hear!! (pregnancy)
Naturally after finding out we went out to Babies R' Us to buy some girl eskimo coats for alaska, so the last thing we were expecting today was to see a 5th limb. IT'S A BOY!!! We saw several pictures, so she's positive this time that it's a boy. Ryan said he saw "the rocket" right away. I had no clue. I'm so happy!!! Mr. Joah is going on and on about how his boy is going to be "Mr. Tough-guy." hahaha These are TERRIBLE pics because we can't find my scanner (it's in an unopened box), so I had to take a picture of the sonogram we got. hee hee hee. I think that is going to be one of the ways I will have to decide on the middle name 
Oh, So I heard this on the radio this morning. Apparently there is a new trend in naming girl babies. You name the girl's middle name the same as the last name. So, for example, Suzanne Johnson Johnson. They were saying it is because a lot of men want the family name to be carried on, no matter what (when she gets married). So she'll be Suzanne Johnson Smith when married. I think it is so silly. I mean, she can choose to keep her name when she gets married, or not...it shouldn't be forced on her by her parents! I know some people who have their mom's maiden names as middle names, but they are actually kind of interesting, like Avery and Weber...but this just seems crazy to me. |
Aww!!! Blurry baby boy ultrasounds pictures! Hooray! I like the name- did I mention my 5 year old nephew is a Jordan too? He is definitely a tough guy- Mr Sword... I think the kid has every toy sword on the market... Whoops... did I give hubby an idea? Sorry

I know and agree that ultrasounds are not that fun to look at. I know when my coworkers used to show me there's, I would just nodd my head as if I knew what they were showing me. 
But, for the mom's on the board (or currently pregnant), I'm sure they understand how exciting it is to get "the big ultrasound." He kept covering his little .... ...."rooster" ....with his hand. My husband said he had to hold his tongue because he was so tempted to say, "just like his daddy." 
I had no choice on the name. I told my husband he could have it because he's really "macho" ...and wanted to have a little of him in it, so the name is his initials ....and his favorite sports person (Michael Jordan). |
