Cream Cheese Filled Crescent Rolls

SO DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
My mom always prefers Korean food over American food, so when she likes something, it makes me happy.

4 ounces of Phili Cream Cheese.
2 T honey
heeping 1/4 C Sliced Almonds
crescent dinner rolls

preheat oven 375

mix cream chese, honey. then mix in the almonds

unroll crescent roll dough. separate the 8 triangles. spread rounded T. of the mix on the SHORTEST end of the triangle. This means the OPPOSITE end than what I did (took a pic before I moved the mixture to the right side).

Then roll up, pinching the sides so they don't come out. Then after rolled up, bedn them so they resemble crescents!!

Bake 11-14 min. Serve warm and be prepared to make double!! :D

Yummy!!! Now I really wish we lived down the street! We could swap dinner nights!

Karen :)
how great would that be?! you'd have to get an OES though. teeheheeheh ;)
Oh sure, fine- make it conditional!

Karen :)
LOL.... ok, two points, for one thing it looks delicious and you are making me hungry, and for two, you must have been bored. LOL
Seriously though, it looks awesome! I'm going to have to try those little things. :)
Hi, Joahaeyo - Hey! I made your appetizers tonight. They are really yummy! My husband was sound asleep after returning from a 17 hour drive from N.D. to Kansas and I waved one under his nose and he woke right up and said "What is that?" and opened his mouth for a taste! He liked them too! Thanks for the receipe!
Aweeeeee, that's awesome!!!
I am ashamed to admit we made more tonight while all of us watched movies and ate pizza. talk about junk food. hehehe

btw, the recipe calls for a dash of cinnamon in the mixture, but I forgot it. just something else that could give it a twist. i think i like it w/o it.

also, you can add another T. of honey to drizzle over it and add blueberries for color. then it's a dessert. :D
I just went as far back as I could on this section and found this. Oh lordy, I've come a long way since I began cooking (which was only since I got married). Okay, it was more like a year into our marriage.
LOL! I don't dare ask the fat grams in that! No wonder it's all yummy.
This reminds me of a recipe I used to take to work when we had our monthly birthday celebrations. It's simple and easy and everybody liked it. It's basically the same thing, except I add chicken to the cream cheese mixture. Yum. :D
Sounds yummy!!

Another take on this... Pigs in Blankets

Cook up some hotdogs, cut them in half, roll them up in the crescent rolls, bake.

They go well at parties!
Mmmmm now that I see this post again I really think these would be even better with melted chocolate drizzled on top...mmmmm

there are a few good meat/steak recipes i can post when i get the chance though.

Yep she is adopted and at (almost) 25 finally interested in discovering some of her heritage.
I made these yesterday - they were great. I needed some easy side dish to make, as I was in the middle of my night shifts this weekend. I made a batch of the regular recipe w/ the almonds and honey, then I made a second batch with chicken and chopped pnions. Both were popular!
