What did we say about sleeping on the furniture?

Nice to see that our dogs listen so well. From these pics you can see why we cover the couch. They didn't even wake up when I came home. Came in the door, found them like this, went down and got the camera and took multiple pics before they even decided to wake up and check out what was going on.
Yup, really good watchdogs!

That's alright, don't get up.

Hey Carl, I said NO sleeping on the furniture. Carl? Am I bothering you?

Image
Oh sure, look at me like I'm the jerk for waking you up!

hahahahaha. They do look comfy though!! :D
 Awesome pics! LOL
I love almost everything sheepies do, but I really think they are so cute when they sleep.
Those pictures are hilarious!

"Don't mind me...I'm just taking a little nap here."
Do you ever get the feeling that they have the wrong impression (or is it the right impression?) of who is in charge here? Like they tolerate you and your human antics?

Once in a while be late for their dinner.... just to remind them ;)

Great pics and great narration!

Thanks for sharing.
Too cute! It's like Carl is saying - "Wha . . who . .? Oh. Mom is home. Hi. Now let me go back to sleep!"
Chris
The guard dog instinct only seems to kick in when they're fully awake. Nothing takes priority over a nap! My favorite is when my husband's arrival wakes Bailey up from a nap - he'll bark at Tim like he's a total stranger until he gets a fully awake and realizes "Hey! I know him!"

And Ron, I figured out who was in charge months ago... and it's definitely not me

So true, Sue, so true!!
I'm going to have to go with the dogs on this one. With a nice cozy blanket like that on the couch, I'd be all stretched out on it too when you got home! hee-hee!!

Karen
I'm with Karen! Except that I would have BOTH sheepies up there with me until you got home!

Colleen and Gucci George=>ahhhh don't you mean 3 mommy?
LOL maybe you should pick up a cheap couch from Goodwill that can be the "doggy sofa"
Mandy-

Do they at least allow you and Bob to sit on their furniture? :D
I sit in the chair. When Bob is on the sofa they tend to hog (dog)pile him until he's on the floor rolling around with them. When they're done playing, they end up on the couch and he stays on the floor!

"What is this Alpha thing you speak of?" -Bob
Yeah Bob  He must be the alpha, they let him start out the couch...or are they just wanting him to think he is...
Very Cute Pictures :D
Love it! I am up with the baby now and Pepsi is in my bed with Hubby.
He'll never know I'm gone. He better get off or move over when I get back there
Elissa
Picture looks completely normal to me. Imagine 6 scattered about a room. Two on the couch, one in a chair, the rest littering the floor. Humans in their own recliners (that way we have our own space) Woe be if the phone rings, we can't get there.

Nice sheepers!
We definately need a picture of that!!!

Karen
Go Bob!

Shellie
Hi,

Can't believe I hadn't written anything yet as I've viewed this pics a few times and just chuckled. They are priceless Max!! Ha ha looks like my house too.

Sheepieboss..I just couldn't imagine what life at your house must be like....ah you must have the patience of a saint!

Marianne and the boys
...of a saint??? Well, until Jack came along.

His barking is very wearing. Plus he has an antisocial behavior that requires swabbing out his mouth and brushing his teeth daily.........you can guess what it is.

I know in time he will settle down, but the rest of the dogs want to know "WHEN?"

Still, all in all, it's working out well, though the house may never recover.

And having six big barkers at the gate does discourage people from even asking for entrance.
Six??? My husband had an attack when we brought a RES turtle home..can't imagine other oes.
OK, here's half a room of dogs. I need to get the other sheepies and the other Pyr in another shot. Being summer, they tend to spread out more. This was a winter shot. I really want a picture of MO in her chair!

Image
That is SOOO COOL!!
Awesome pics! Aren't yoy guys surprised when you come home and there's no barking and doggie exitement, only two huge sheepie rugs, one on each couch?
lol - too funny!
And it continues. This time we found Norman sleeping in bed. Note: This bed was made when we left for the day!!!!!!

And this innocent look is just killing me! How many times do we have to tell you no sleeping on the furniture? The least they could do is have the decency to wake up and get down before we come home.
Mandy, youre killin' me.... I havent laughed this hard in weeks.......

Sheepieboss...god bless you...they are all too big...lol
LOL! I love the "new" look for the bed!

Colleen and The Gooch
hmmm, must have had a nightmare! Mine don't do that much mussin' up.
