Made a new OES friend today

So, we're in line at Dairy Queen today with my husband and daughter. I noticed the woman in front of me had ordered a child's cone which I thought was a bit weird as she had 2 teenagers with her. She turned to me and told me to have my daughter (who's almost 3) watch where her daughter was bringing the baby cone. We watched her walk over to the van and I was guessing she had a dog in there. Well, how surprised was I when I saw this big grey and white shaggy head pop out!! I was so excited, I must have sounded like a big idiot telling her about Bob. So, I've got her number and now have a friend to get Bob together with. Her dog is adorable - and really large! Ozzy is over 100 pounds and has this huge head. I don't think I'd have to worry about Bob getting out of line with him!!

Oh Karen!!! Good for you!!!! Play time with another sheepie is great. Take pictures...Panda has a date with Bailey on Wed....

Big huh???? The bigger, the better. More slobber to wipe off of his ears, though :D
A friend! Great. Hope they can be playmates.

As for bigger is better..........that's fine up to the point they crawl up on the bed and rest their huge head on yours. The other day I had Harry curled up around my butt, MO around my chest and the big Fluffernutter, Jack, decides he needs to rest his head on mine. That was one heavy head!!! There was no way I could move. Husband laughed and left the house for work. grrrr, finally talked Mo into moving and I slid out from underneath Jack........he's not quite 100 lbs.
Aww. I'm glad t hear that I'm not the only one who gets their dog his own cone!
Nosecone! Exactly...........or one giant earring

I'm so glad you found a friend to play with!

It's so funny about us "sheepie people" I was walking GG in town and the UPS truck driver practically jumps out of his moving vehicle to ask if GG can breed with his sheepie girl! 8O

I was like...holy crap...Guc doesn't even know what a sheepie girl looks like, never mind that! And by the way, what is your name? :?

He was very disappointed that GG doesn't have his "jewels" and couldn't even if Guc wanted too! I have to say, I was a wee bit frightened that he was soliciting these things on the street! I'm hoping that he doesn't find another to breed with, sounds like he isn't very experienced in that department! HOLY MOLY! Let's leave that to the PROFESSIONALS!

Colleen and Gucci George=>Mommy? I feel dirty...and what's an icecream cone?
I had something similar.....years ago a car pulled up to the front gate and a guy pulls out his pathetic Great Pyr bitch and wants to know if one of our males would breed his bitch......right on the spot :o

He was very upset when we told him none of our dogs, male or female, were breedable as they had all been sterilized.

And we wonder why there are so many unloved, unwanted dogs in the country..............
Poor GG feels dirty!!!

Ask your mom for just a taste of an ice cream cone to start off with. Your brother's last cone didn't sit well with him and he's still a little leary of ice cream!
Karen.
That's very cool. Glad Bob will have a sheepie friend :D
Elissa
GG CANNOT believe his brother has had icecream and HE HASN'T!

I guess we are off to DQ tonite!

Colleen and Gucci George=>THANKS TOBY! :D
I only give Clyde frozen yogurt-- it's supposed to be good in their food, right? At least that's how I justify it...:)

I work at a DQ and I was actually surprised at the amount of people who go through the drive thru with their dogs and get them a small cup or small cone. I've given more ice cream to dogs than the doggy bones beneath the register!
Good call on the frozen yogurt! They'd probably like that better anyway.
Now I want frozen yogurt....
