Looking for Sheepie Rescue and Person who used to rescue the
I don't know where else to put this post--and it looks like this site is not as active as it once was since a lot of the posts on the threats are old. In 2011, I rescued an OES named Dexter from Carol Lake at MoKan OES Rescue in western Missouri. He passed away this past November (2019). I tried to update her but her email comes back as no longer working, the phone number from her email in 2011 is disconnected, and the website is defunct. Does anyone know what happened to her? Does anyone here know her (she was a member of this site). Also, I am looking to rescue another Sheepie. But it appears they are rare these days. Does anyone know of any active rescues? I called the one here in Chicagoland and their site is old and not updated and the lady I called said they have only had a couple in the past few years. Please don't send me to petfinder. There are six listed nationwide and they are all mixes and not really sheepdogs and the two that are Sheepies are pending, or no longer taking applications. Just checking to see if anyone knows of any active sites that aren't OLD, outdated, or defunct that actually have rescues available. thank you KJ |

| I always see a lot of posts fro the Texas rescue so you might want to try them as well. I believe that you have to pick them up. |
