Wasn't to sure where to post this problem we have with Sprocket sometimes. He can have what seems like very stinky breath but not always so can't be bad tooth or gums or would smell all the time surely? I thought I would do a "sniff survey" on him. In the mornings he is fine, after breakfast still ok (he is having dry kibble). He may have a couple of shapes biscuits for tea break during morning-ok still. Has small amount of kibble for lunch-all ok. Has dinner kibble and often ok after that and after I have brushed him at around 7pm-9pm. Then when we are watching tv Sprox will come for a 5 mins sit on sofa with us and he may stink or not. This morning being Sunday he came on our bed before we got up at 8am and he was very stinky(hadn't eaten). Had his breakfast and wasn't smelly after and so it goes on. Anyone any ideas? We use a toothpaste nightly and have a minty breath spray for when bad. There is no sign of any mouth problems. Help!! (it isn't his ears or private parts as have sniffed those!)

Strange. Perhaps he's not easily digesting dinner? Maybe he's burped a little? I hope he's not eating poop...  |
