Using mars coat king to remove mats

Hello, i have an oes that ive had since 6 weeks. She was born april of 2016. It has been horrible keeping mats off her legs and body, basically everywhere, i am trying to weather the storm until she is 3 years and has a semi manageable adult coat. I splurged on a 23 blade mars coat king and it is amazing at getting mats out, i do not want to take her to the groomer anymore because all they do is shave her in spots and she looks terrible, like she has mange. I have been using this tool and it is amazing at getting out the mats, while the furminator and brushing only hurt my dog and i could not remove mats. The only downside is it seems to be too good at removing undercoat and now her coat is very thin, she looks like shes lost 30 pounds but really it was all her fluffy fur. I would like to get any advice on how to preserve the oes coat as much as possible while managing mats on a junior/puppy coat? Any advice helps, i just want her to have her beautiful coat back

There is the line grooming method to help, but it's just brushing, brushing

This is why we have kept our guys in a puppy cut
Ron is there a youtube video you can refer to on the line brushing? I want to have heads up on this same situation for future reference, but the video's I find are not breed specific.
As for the poster, a brushing a day would not hurt, I had pyrs, which do not have the OES coat, but are thick coated and easily matted, and I kept the coat brushed daily, after each walk, or as an evening relax, to keep it from matting. Training from pup helped on making it a routine relaxing experience!
I started to present Carl Lindon's line brushing picture demo.
It ends before "the first problem area". He's a member here, but I forget where he published the rest of it.

I just "line grooming" bit, shame just goes to the "first problem area", must look for the rest, passing the time whilst meal is cooking. xx :wag: :tea: :sidestep: (Sprocket charging off when he sees the brush-he likes it and goes to sleep whilst I brush but loves to hide first!! xx
