Ridley and his mom Rachel

Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome! Ridley thanks you too! My avatar is a picture of Ridley when he was 2.5 months. He's almost 7 months and weigs about 59lbs, but he still acts like he weighs 12lbs...hahaha. I got Ridley when he was 9 weeks, in Bedford, Indiana about a 2hr drive from Louisville. When I pulled up to the farm, the morning I got Ridley, two big sheepdogs greeted me. I later found out these were Ridley's parents. The breeder led me into her big log cabin, and down stairs where the puppies were. I could he them before I saw them....when I saw all those chubby little guys my heart melted, but one in particular caught my eye. I picked him up and he put his head on my shoulder, it was love and first sight.....the other puppies were cute, but this one was the one I wanted. I guess Ridley had just gone to the bathroom before I got there b/c there was wet spot on my white shirt....oh well, I didn't care. We came home and my neighbors (all of them) fell in love with him. He's the most popular dog on the block. The neighbor kids come over and ask if Ridley can play.

Sorry for typing your ear off, but I love talking about my dog.

Rachel

Welcome! Ridley is so cute! Sounds like he picked you instead of the other way around!

Don't ever be sorry for talking our ears off! This is the place to do it! I am looking forward to hearing all about Ridley and his adventures!

I love talking about my dog too! I think my husband is VERY glad I have this forum, when the computer is off, I end up talking his ear off about Gucci George, well....and quite frankly all the sheepie stories from the forum as well!

Hi Rachel! Welcome to you and Ridley :)

My husband is just confused - I knew nothing about dogs when he got Bailey and now I seem to be the source of all Sheepie wisdom. If he'd just log into the forum he'd realize that I have dozens of great advisors
Welcome Rachel and Ridley.
Please tell us many stories about Ridley because I'm sure you have a lot of funny stories to tell us. Sheepdogs are the best :!:
