The new horse in my life

Presenting Ariel aka Miss A. I started lessons on her this summer and leased her in September. Leasing a horse is just like leasing a car (except I don't have to pay if I go over 20K miles a year). She is mine in every way, except legally. Her lease fee will be applied to her purchase price if I decide to buy her (hmmmmmm :lmt: ) This picture is one of my first rides on her. She's very cute and I'm very fond of her.

Wahahahahaha Ron you're such a nightmare....night-mare. Get it? :sidestep:
Maybe I've been out-punned! I bridle at the thought.
We should ask for a Gallop pole.
I'm chomping at the bit to know.
Don't saddle me with a gallop poll.
That would be putting the cart before the horse and there's not enough horse power around here so you will have to reign in your ideas and not get the bit between your teeth.
ahhh-hem~~~

Can we get back to the thread you two?????

Paula~~I am so happy that you have a horse back in your life! She is a beauty and she looks very sweet. Looking forward to more pictures of Ariel.(I love her name)....

NOW...Mim and Ron????? you can return to your regularly schedule bantering!!!!!
Hay, are you saying neigh to our horsing around?
I think its neck and neck for who has the best puns and someone will have to win by a nose.
So lets not let things get too stable, I'll be forced to call out the cavalry.
Whoa...whoa...

She is beautiful, Paula. Cheers to many wonderful years together.
What is she wearing on her head? Obviously I'm not horse literate

Brenda, she is sporting a fly bonnet. It keeps the flies out of her ears and hopefully her eyes while riding. I don't know if it's useful, but it is very fashionable.

Amanda, yes, she can be very mischievious. She has some holes in her training but nothing that work, patience and a few peppermints won't cure...
She looks very cute. Do you have her at your home or do you have to go somewhere else to be with her. A friend has a horse but no room at home so stabled about 10 miles away so she spends all her time driving back and forth. xx
Ariel is boarded about 10 miles from my house, which is considered close. Takes me about 15 minutes to drive there.
