Halloween costumes

Hi everyone.

Ok, I've never done this before but we have friends who want us to join them in this years pet Halloween costume party. I never put my dogs in costume but I guess there's a 1st time for everything. Have any of you dressed your sheepdog up for Halloween before? I'm looking for ideas and help on how to put one together. HELP please! (I figured I'd better start this early. Lol!)

Hula skirts, if your dogs are wiggle bums.
Spiders (you stuff black nylons-need four pairs for eight legs-and attach them to a black tee shirt that your dog wears, that one can look neato if you are walking down the street at night).

If you do a search here on costume or Halloween you will find costumes to inspire you.

Cut and paste that link. I loved that picture.
These are awesome ideas and pics. Thanks!
Anyone else have any ideas and/or pics?
I bought a fairy outfit with a pink satin skirt and some pink tulle wings for a 3-5 year old.
I needed to let out the waist of the skirt to fit a sheepie girl's waist and make the elastic on the wings longer. The beautiful tiara was scorned and did not stay on for more than 2 seconds so I gave up on that.
I carried the wand but I'd taught my girl to touch with her nose so her magic trick was to bump her nose on the wand whenever I held it in front of her.
Every little girl that we came across was enchanted.
The boys were a little impressed I think but didn't let on.
They were much more impressed with my dalmation who didn't have a costume but who I had taught to fall over and roll on his back when I made a gun with my fingers and said bang. Stereotypes...sheesh.
This year bloo and I are doing a halloween walk to raise money for Guide Dogs so I am on the hunt for some inspiration too! I'm thinking Scarecrows.. An old chequered shirt and straw and a hat.. :P It's so hard when pet costumes aren't big enough! ^_^
