Food recommendations
Bella is now 10 months, and has occasional problems passing stools. Vet said she needs more fiber but thought Purina was ok and suggested we mix some pumpkin in her food. |

| Hi! I have a 7-month-old and his first 5 months were terrible poop! It took 3 different dog foods to find the right one. He started on Purina and that was giving him major pudding poop. Finally, Fromm's Heartland (or Prairie) Gold large breed puppy is what worked! The poor guy apparently has a sensitivity to chicken and grain. The other foods I tried were Wellness and Orijen. My vet was not helpful AT ALL with recommending a food. I kept getting the answer, "he's a puppy. They all have stomach problems in their first year." NOT TRUE! |
| Thanks, my vet pretty much the same thing. I'll look into that brand. I don't want to experiment to much though; as the pumpkin does help. |
