What are they? Sheepdogs? Bearded Collies? Saint Bernards?

This was brought up on another list.
What breed are they?

To me they look brown, and have the markings of a Saint Bernard, but maybe too much brown in back.
But I am just guessing.

(I don't have the answer, so don't get your hopes up! lol )

They don't look like oes, I'd say beardies or a cross possibly. Also, not knowing how big that bed is they may be lhasa apso crosses who knows...
Maturity level appears to be that of 6-8 weeks old, so too small to be oes, and completely the wrong color, unless maybe they were an oes springer spaniel mix? They're cute whatever they are...lol...
Haven't a clue but they sure are cute :D Mom can I pleeeeez have one?????
How cute are they :D I'm just guessing but don't think they are poodles
They are adorable. I'm with bestdogs, don't think they are poodles either. I thought they might have some Aussie or maybe even some Border Collie with the coloring. Not sure why their tails would be docked if they have Border in them though.
That may not be a docked tail.... the other part of the tail may not be visible if it is curled down. Springers have a docked tail, but not docked as short. I'm thinking more and more they look like springer spaniels, or a springer cross anyway.
Field springers (dogs bred for hunting not showing) have shorter hair, but the ones bred for show have a bit longer hair and likely appear slightly fluffy like these do.
Here are some pics of field springer (shorter hair)

I saw this same picture in one of those weekly circular ads in the mail and was wondering the same thing. I am almost tempted to say St. Bernard based on their body shape,, color of fur, amount of fur, and size.
I'd agree on the Polish Lowland Sheepdog.
Don't the PON's hair look a little bit spikey compared to the ad pups? (Then again, maybe they were brushed nicely for the ad.)
I think they are PONS too!
Yes, the pups in the pic are no where near as spikey, but the fur on their face is not quite as smooth as a springer either...lol...
Here is a link to a PON site:

I really think that is what they are!
