New family member

I haven't been on in awhile. Due to divorce and being a newly single mom.

Lily has always been wonderful but she's been getting some severe separation anxiety. She's always had a person or a dog with her at all times. So I made the decision to search for a new dog.

Introducing Bully!!! He is a border terrier mix. I am his 4th home, he's only 1. Now he has a home forever!

Can't believe he's had four homes already. Sounds like it's going well with you and Lily has a new friend.
He is cute, how is he getting along with the baby?? Lilly should be happy.
Congratulations on your cute little addition :D
It's only been 1 day now, he's a chewer when left alone. However, stuff he chewed was baby toys and it could be mistaken for dog stuff. He had one poo accident in the house. He's great with babies and children. His last house he lived in a house with 5 children all under 7! Lily loves him. He's met some of the families dogs and children and has done great! He did escape my backyard...but he came when I called him. I'm not used to little dogs. His recall is pretty good. He's learning SUPER fast. He's already getting sit and shake, off the furniture and out of the kitchen. He's a quick learner. Its a wonder no one ever took time with him. He really does want to please.

On a side note...everyone makes fun of his looks. "Its a good thing he has such a big personality" Because lets face it borders (hes a border terrier mix) look like garbage pail, old man dogs, but thats what I LOVE about him!
His face is lovely!!! People are dumb if they can't recognize adorable when they see it! Congratulations on your new addition.
I think he is adorable :hearts: Glad to hear he is doing so well with everything.. What does your baby, Emmet? think about the new puppy?
He has such a sweet face and he sounds like he's a busy boy, which can work out well with the older dog. It makes them get up and play more. Enjoy your new addition.
Borders put the T in Terror-ier. Hopefully when this one settles down enough to realize he's got a good permanent home, life with be easier. How so much mischief gets packed into such a small package..........he just needs rats to chase around the property.
My son loves him!! He calls him "pee" though.  He calls lily "good dog"

My trainer also happens to be a breeder of merit, her breed is borders. (Shes been telling me for years I need a border in my life) She's helping me through his behaviors and what he does. It's also nice to have a breeder around that will show me how to hand strip my little guy!

Lil and bully play so hard. Harder than I thought they would. Bully is tough. I never thought I would say this but my delicate 75lb sheepie tore her dew claw last night so this am it's off to the vets... :headbang: :headbang:
I failed to mention how much I like Borders and their fuzzy faces. Good thing you have the friend/breeder! Once he settles he'll be great!
