New home needed for 2 1/2 year old female OES

Due to medical issues I am in need of a good home for my gal. 2 1/2 year old OES. The best dog in the world. I will only give to someone who understands the OES breed, they will know what I'm talking about. Good homes need only reply.

Thanks

Hi,

I know this is over a month since your posting, but I was wondering if you still had your little girl? I'm looking for another OES to spoil rotten. I just lost mine a few months ago..he was 14 years old. Love the breed.

thank you!
I don't know if you are still trying to find a good home for your sheepie girl, but my best advice is to find a OES rescue, like Karen mentioned. There might be one closer to you depending on where you are located. The rescue organization can evaluate your dog's temperament and behavior, as well as screen the adoptive parents to try and make sure they are well suited for the dog, and that the goal is to place the dog in a forever home. It really seems to be the best way to ensure that it works out for everyone.
I wish you luck, and I am sorry you weren't able to keep your girl.

McGyver's Mom Welcome to the forum, I am sorry about your loss of your sheepie. I hope you find a wonderful sheepie for you and your family soon.

Hi McGuyver's mom! If you are a fellow Minnesotan, or close to the MN area, feel free to contact Nancy, at the e-mail listed avove. She is the head of MOESR (Minnesota Old English Sheepdog Rescue) and has several loveley OES looking for homes right now!

Hi everyone. Thank you for letting me know about the sheepdogs who need homes. I have adopted Bentley from Michigan! He is adorable. Even though he looked sad in his picture, he is really a pretty happy guy. Very sweet, very gentle, very unaware that he is a big dog and not a lap dog! I am very happy I made the trip to get him, and have started spoiling him already. We're two lucky "people!"
