Mattie finished her radiation treatments
They told me the next 2 weeks can be difficult. The radiation continues to work for another 2 weeks. By the end of the 2 weeks her throat should start to feel better and by the end of a month she should be a hundred percent. After a couple of months when everything is healed she can have another CT scan and see if we got the Tumors. Hoping ....Fingers crossed.. Right now Im hand feeding her with a spoon little amounts of food so she can keep it down. Her throat is so raw that she is having a hard time keeping food down. She's on a lot of meds for pain and cough and congestion. Saying our prayers for a happy outcome. Thank You for everyones prayers and kind words and thoughts. |

 So glad that part is finished. Poor Baby Doll Something that may soothe her throat is popsicles. The cold would feel good plus tastes great.  Keeping good thoughts for your baby and you and positive results on the next scan.  |

| Glad she is done. Prayers for her and for you to keep your strength up to take care of her. Something I did for Bear Bear was freeze pedilyte in small silicon ice trays about the size of a nickel..only it doesn't freeze solid, it comes out like real soft ice and she would eat those when she got sick and Lucy too. maybe she would like something like that or fine crushed ice pieces....Poor sweet baby,,, |
