oh happy day

Yay, finally some GOOD news. As some of you may know Beau has synovi sarcoma on his left front leg. He has been on Dermaxx for over a year and is doing okay. He limps badly but is happy and eats and sleeps well. Our vet wanted to xray his leg to see how much damage has been done to the bone, we were unable to take him in because he can no longer use the ramp and we can't lift him for fear of breaking his leg :( We also needed bloodwork done to see how his liver and kidneys are functioning so the vet came to my house to draw the blood. I thought this was very nice, he didn't even charge us extra although I told him to charge anything he wanted to, I would gladly pay it. His reply"Beau is one of our special boys and we will do anything to help him." The bloodwork was GREAT!!!!! Other than one extremely high liver function(caused by the changes in the bone) everything was normal. The vet was amazed at the results, he thought he would be calling us with bad news. Sorry about the long post but I was so relieved I started crying  Even though we know his life will be shorter than we would like this makes me feel better.

That is wonderful news and had me almost in tears too. I can only imagine the relief you must be feeling. Beau sounds like a special boy and of course you as his mom deserve angel wings for the obviously great care you are providing for him.
