I have to share or I am going to bust! My sweet baby who dances 6-7 days a week competitively during the weekends has done her first duet. She has only done group dances thus far. She is accustomed to winning but not when it is just she and another girl. HOLY HECK they won first place! I'm so way past proud I can't stand it! Like I said I am very accustomed to being proud, you can tell from her little body in one of the pics ( she is on the right in the pics ) she is one big muscle from all of her hard work. The other not so flattering pic is from her lack of posture. Just not so used to being this proud it was just she and her little friend on a HUGE stage all by themselves. Long season ahead, she is in 12 dances but the duet was all we did yesterday. Usually running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to change her costume, change her hair, shoes, jewelry and tights to ready for the next dance. Yesterday was nice..... just concentrating on the duet alone. Oh, I love all my kids and I love all my dogs! SOOO nice to have a warm greeting when we got home!

I know you are busting of excitement and being so proud of your daughter but I hope you are also proud of yourself. Without your support and dedication to your daughter she would not be as successful. After all, who would do her hair, fix her costumes, jewelry, drive her to practice and events, etc. Good job mom.....
