Update

Went to the vet for the annual clearing out of my checkbook! Steel is 71.5lbs., Skye 58lbs., Sonny 37.5lbs. All heart worm free and stocked up for the year on prevention. Stocked up on flea, tick prevention and Sonny got a booster. Steel got his Lepto. Skye and Sonny got a physical. Alllll healthy. Handed out kisses to all the staff! Skye, little miss chewer has been referred to an oral surgeon. She has a tooth that she has cracked in the back AGAIN. She needs this tooth to eat so will need repair. Should be hurting her but she isn't the type to show signs of pain unless it's verrry bad so I need to handle this quickly just to be sure she isn't dealing with any discomfort. Have removed all of the bones from her but she steals them out of the closed door pantry in my absence occasionally. :headbang: She said Steel has 2 more growth spurts before he hits a year so she wouldn't be surprised if he hits 80lbs. To bring him in mid summer to visit for a weight check so they can check out his physique and see how he is doing. He is her only OES. Some things are standard but she complimented how well behaved they all were and how well tempered they all were. I think they just like to see Steel. They flipped over his hair cut. I think she may just be trying to be very careful with him to make sure she is doing everything right. His body is much easier to see now. I think that puts her mind at ease. It does mine a little. He looks a tinny bit thin to me. Maybe, just maybe. Honestly though he eats a ton comparatively speaking and I'd rather the thin side as opposed to the heavy side. He already makes such an ordeal of getting up from a laying down position. As if to say..."really, you want me to rise?" So macaroni and cheese for the kids and I for the rest of the month and the dogs will be our only entertainment! Kidding, but thats what I felt like when I walked out of there! Love how my vet and all of the people there (even the kinda snooty ones) take the kisses from my dogs. Slobber and all. Skye being part St. Bernard drools when excited, and the other two both slobber in the car. Steel is verrrry bad. I try to wipe them down with a towel before we go in because one guy pet Steel and was offended by the wet. I punched him in the bicep. Kidding. Anyway, wiping doesn't help and the staff just takes it and asks for more. They act like my babes are their own and that makes my heart warm and fuzzy.

Glad things were good with the test. Steel is turning into a big boy. Your vet and staff sound wonderful the way they treat you and your babies. :clappurple:
Sounds good and yes, having the shorter coat helps the vet and you this summer to watch for ticks, etc. Sorry about the cracked tooth, they discovered one on me too so I'll be cemented together here in about a month. Maybe cheaper if the vet does the work? :lmt:

As for slobber boy, excitement does that. Pssssfffft on the man who was offended, like the dog is doing it on purpose!
