Some Agility Trial Videos and Picture
Here is Monty and I and my friend Peg and her black lab mix - Stella at the trial waiting for out turn. I have to wear a buff (or granny head sock as my husband calls it) to keep my hair out of my face as I have a habit of flicking my hair out of my face with my hand distracting Monty.  No qualification and ribbons to display unfortunately. The first run was Advanced Gambles, Monty was doing great until he pooped on the course. We had been out before hand and he had peed but he needs to run around to poop so tomorrow I will take him for a run first as pooping means instant disqualification. No video for this run. Second run was Starters Standard 1, we were doing fine until Monty decided not to go onto the table resulting in me doing a happy dance around the table trying to get him on and him thinking it is a game. Once I skipped the table the run went quite smoothly. Third run was Starters Standard 2 which went perfectly until the very last jump when he knocked the top bar off, everyone watching let out a groan. Fourth run was starters jumpers, got one fault at the beginning and then the rest of the run was great. Getting a qualification in these runs is looking more attainable now, just have to hope for no more hick-ups lol. |
