Monty has Moved on to Advanced Gambles in Agility

Monty enjoys gambles in agility trials the most as he can get away with doing the obstacles he wants to do.

In the first 40 seconds you have to accumulate 20 points by doing different obstacles. You can only do the same obstacle twice. Some obstacles are set up at a distance and you can accumulate more points. Some obstacles have higher point values than others.
When the buzzer goes you have to do the final gamble which is a series of obstacles at a distance.

Monty's Q'd in the last three gamble courses that we have run. Unfortunately we are not qualifying on the other courses yet as I am not in total control of Monty and he is taking off course obstacles.

Here is a video of him running in starters gambles

Opps don't know how this posted twice.
I hope this doesn't come as any less of a compliment because I am COMPLETELY ignorant to how Agility and all of this works but that just looked amazing!!! Really amazing! It looked to me as if the babe was looking right at you to see what to do next. My son watched with me a second time and said the same thing. Looks like great fun for both of you!
Somebody realllly enjoys agility!! OK, the weave isn't fun, but he flies with the best, loves his tunnels!!
Thanks Eleece and Susan

We both really enjoy it. When Monty looks to me we do well and when I am positioned right. That was a good run, even with the weaves not working out.

Monty used to be really good at weaves, no hesitation, flipping in and out and then something happened and it's like he is confused about what the weaves are about. So we need to work at getting his joy back into the weaves.
Congratulations! That was great and looks like so much fun! I'd have to crawl through the tunnels dropping food to get Stellie to even think about going in as she hated them when introduced to them in her puppy class.

Same with Monty, it's probably because they don't know if there is a way out.
Go Monty!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
:clappurple: :clappurple: Congrats! :cheer: :cheer:
Awesome Monty! Are you doing AAC? :clappurple: :clappurple:

He really enjoys his agility. Monty has a nice jump form. Thanks for sharing.
