Goodby My Lovely Lucy

I had to help my sweet girl Lucy cross over today, her cancer had spread and causing blood clots. Had one stopping the blood flow to her hind leg and foot was cold and swelling. I thought she had got bitten by something.
I knew it was the right decision. So why do I have so many tears? :( Is it because you remember all of your loves at the same time and your heart explodes because of the sadness?

So sorry to hear of Lucy's passing.
So very very sorry for your loss of your sweet Lucy. Special thoughts for you during a difficult time. :ghug:
I'm so very sorry.

:ghug:
I am so sorry to hear this. :ghug:
Thanks for the thoughts. People that do not love their fuzzies like we do, do not understand how great a loss it is. I ended a friendship after they said it was only a cat, my first and very loved, Haven't talked to a family member since they said they don't live forever instead of something like I am sorry for your loss. You all understand, so thanks for letting me shed my tears on here.
About 10 minutes after I posted, I let Tinsley outside to go potty and she barked at something, then i heard cries of a very small kitty. Sounded distressed. Put Tinsley up and got the flashlight and low and behold, a small black and white kitty all alone meowing up a storm. was sitting on the sidewalk (public domain) between duplexes of these ? who have yappy dogs and . dont know what a leash is The little yapping dogs were going crazy in the window, lights were off, I really doubt it was theirs. All I could think of was someone opening the door, yaps running out and no more kitty. I know, what do you all think I did :?: Very hungry and we are getting a cold snap here thurs evening. I think Lucy sent her to me, or me to find her. Fits in my hand and looking at teeth looks to be 4-6 weeks barely. Tinsley is very happy wagging that nub and licking kitty. But she (kitty) is in the bathroom for now so I can sleep. Not worried Tinsley would hurt her, maybe just step on her. I am such a sucker for those in need.

I'm sorry for your loss :ghug:

I am so sorry for you. Even tho we know it's the right thing to do it doesn't lessen the hurt.

It's wonderful that you were able to rescue this kitty and we all like to think the ones that cross over send us a message one way or the other.
I am so sorry. Another beautiful sheepie with angel wings. Go play over the Bridge now Lucy your Mummy loves your lots and lots but she knows you are out of pain now. The little kitty sounds adorable...xx
I am sorry for your loss :( :(
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Lucy :hearts: We all know this will happen but it doesn't minimize the devastation.   My heart goes out to you. Lucy is with all the other sheepies at the Rainbow Bridge. I also believe Lucy sent this kitty to because she needed you and you needed her.
Again, condolences. :ghug: :hearts:

So sorry to hear that her time had come. :ghug:
Tears are necessary to float our beloved to the Rainbow Bridge. Cry freely.

It never gets any easier no matter how many dogs you have had. My deepest sympathy for the loss of Lucy.
So sorry to hear this.... God speed sweet Lucy, God speed sweet girl.

Thanks everyone. Miss Lucy was actually a border collie/ausie mix I got for a friend from another friend, but she ended up staying with me. For 12 years. I posted a few things about her allergies and stuff over the past few months, I just thought I could share my tears with you all, since you all understand, even though she wasn't a sheepie, but she didn't know that and I didn't love her any less than Bear Bear and Starbuck. My new puppy is a sheepie, Tinsley who is actually 1 year old this month sometime. Tinsley is the 5th sheepie I have been lucky enough to be owned by. And all of my sheepies loved the kitties. Thanks again for the thoughts. Just knowing you all understand helps me a lot.
Took Tinsleys kitty to vet today, about 5 weeks old, not sure if boy or girl, very sweet and got wormer and antibiotics for eye buggers and ear mite stuff. Wish Tinsley would find me a winning lottery ticket.
Thanks again for the hugs and warm thoughts. It really does help.
I am so very sorry for your heartbreak on losing your sweet Lucy. But wasn't it wonderful that she sent baby kitty to you and Tinsley.
:ghug:
So sorry to hear this news.
Hugs to you on this sad day. :ghug: :ghug:
