Hollie now in season

Hollie came into season 4th sept aged 10months. I mentioned earlier on in thread.
Since I was last on I have been in hospital with heart problems during her being on heat. Recovering well and only the last few days have I actually been able to sit with her incase she jumped and injured me or caught my stitches. Think tonight she is more relaxed and I have given her loads of attention with rubbing her face and body until now I just couldn't risk it.
So far so good back to having a bond again. Food wise still a nightmare where she will refuse to eat unless I sit with her. Well she had no choice when I was out of bounds due to being ill but now she is a pain meal times. Now around so carrying on with new regime but she is still fussy over meal times. Always waits for retriever to eat hers first and if my older dog goes towards Hollie bowl then Hollie goes to protect her bowl, doesn't eat it though. We have added meat in with dried, watered it down etc. if food not eaten then picked up after 10 mins NO TIPBITS given.
When I was in hospital Hollie didn't eat all day must have been starved but still not eating that well now home.
Tried wet on on
Tried wet mixed
Tried dried food think must have gone through all dried food but she WILL eat James welbeloved duck and rice WHEN SHE WANTS TO EAT.
Always told a dog will not starve, pick food up and put down later. No tipbits in between.
Doing that but she is being so fussy. Do I ignore and just put dried food down and lift up again. I know she likes this one.
Also know she has been stressed and missed me but the new regime is in place and I no longer will sit with her while she eats. Started cos I would feed her outside and have a cig while she was eating. No longer cando that.

Sorry meant to be in behavour section
Short of a food allergy or sore teeth, she's not an eater. Paige was never an eater, always a tad underweight. When she went 3 days I'd cave and put some tuna oil or mackerel on her food and she'd eat.......maybe. She was active, healthy and Queen of the Yard. I've always sat with the dogs when they eat, even outside in high mtns of Colorado, freezing my butt. They were happier if I was around and I could guard against stolen food. Kdog may be the first dog I don't sit with.......being an only there's nobody to steal her food.
