We had 9 in the instinct testing right off in the morning. Even one 4.5 month old puppy who was hooked! We also had a bouv, and a briard puppy. Then the rain hit, so we took a break! We got a little wet running inside. Not quite the usual look for Bond, the Grand Ch show dog! But yes, he gets to be a "real dog" ![]() Click through for fullsize image: ![]() Spectating: Click through for fullsize image: ![]() Bond and his water: Click through for fullsize image: ![]() Some short video clips of Bond herding. Broken into 3, 30--40 second segments - beginning, middle and end clips. We were practicing for A Course sheep. He looks great! To my (admittedly inexperienced) eye, he looks like he has very good control. ![]() ![]() ![]() I would SO love to try herding with Benson, but the nearest place to train is something like 150 miles away. ![]() |

But thankfully, our local practice is only about 30 minutes away. And that is really rare to find. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
