Brick has a great vet visit, but kinda sad
Vet said he looked great for his age.  No issues. He also got his vaccinations, which is the kinda sad part. He gets 3 year rabies shots. So more than likely, that was his last rabies shot.  |

| Oh, I remember thinking that with Harry........I knew he didn't have the 3 years in him. Just continue to love him and may every day special for him....though they already are, he's with you and that's all he wants. |
| I'm right there with you. Bailey is 13 and has a bad liver. We spend around 300/month on her medications and have since 2008. Her lab values are slowly creeping up and she is having some trouble getting up, but she doesn't want to miss a cookie or a road trip. My vet keeps telling me that if she is here in September, she will make another birthday (April). |

| Mark--just had the same thoughts with Baley's vet visit a few weeks ago-the vet insisted on the Rabies shot--but we didn't give him anything else this visit. He will be 12 in November and is showing his age. It seems like he has really declined the past two months. He is having difficulty getting up, he sleeps a lot more than he used to and he gets lost in the back yard when it is dark. The good news is that he still smiles most all the time-still perks up at the word 'cookie' and loves being told as many times as I can each day--that he is 'such a good dog'.  |
| I know it's really hard as our puppies age when they reach the time we think, this will probably be their last rabie shot. When China and Violet got to be about Brick's age the Vet told us they only give yearly rabie shots to them. I hope Brick is around to get his next 3 year rabie vac. |
