Bricky's hobbling on his right front

Got home from work today to find Brickles limping on his right front leg.
Don't know what happened. He was fine when I left for work.

I gave him half a Rimadyl and called the vet.
They told me to monitor it thru the rest of the day and night. If I'm still concerned tomorrow morning, I can bring him in in the morning.

He's been looking for a lot of attention from me since I got home. Licking my face, sitting in my lap, and he's now lying across my lap now that I'm sitting on the couch.
He was panting a bit earlier, but it's a little warm in the house and he's probably in a bit of pain. He's not really panting now.
I gave him the Rimadyl just after 4 and it's now just after 5. Maybe the drug is kicking in.

My poor boy. I worry about him more than ever now that he's crossed the 10 year mark. :(

Poor Bricky! Hopefully Rimadyl and a good night's rest will fix him up.

Get better quick, little Brick....we all are worried about you!!!

*Mark, please keep us posted... :plead:
He ate well tonight. Gobbled his food right up. Drinking fine, too.

I went downstairs to work on my computer and he wanted to come down. He went down 2 stairs and stopped. I had to turn him around and lead him back upstairs.

But then when I went outside to clean up the yard, he went right down the 4 outside stairs without much trouble.
He took 2 big poops and was meandering around the yard. He must've seen a dog walking up the street because he took off at full sprint to the other side of the house to bark at the other dog.
I yelled at him to slow down so that he wouldn't hurt himself. Hard headed terrier.
Poor Brick. Hope he feels better soon :hearts:
Did you check his toenails? A while back 2 members sheepies in the same week had torn a nail and that's what was wrong with them. What ever it turns out to be, hope he feels better soon.
Hope Brick feels better soon! :ghug:
I did check his pads/nails/paw and didn't see anything.
I massaged him around the shoulder area and that's when he whimpered a little bit.
But that was all yesterday.

He seems to be doing better today. I still gave 1/2 a Rimadyl to him with his breakfast.
I hope Brick feels better soon. It's tuff getting old.
Yes it is tough getting old and it is even harder to watch someone you love getting old.

Get better soon Brick.
I hope he just over did it a bit. Thankfully most of the time some pain meds and time to rest and heal up do the trick. The joys of hitting older age - none of us bounce back quite as well as we used to. :?
He seems much better tonight. Jumping on & off the couch and running up & down the stairs.
He and Zeke are harrassing each other. Nice to see that he bounced back quickly.

Good boy, Bricky.....no more scaring daddy!!!!!!!

(We will miss all of you so much at Sheepiepalooza!!!!) :( :( :( :( :( :(
Even though he was hurting yesterday, it was kinda nice because he was so sweet. He was very cuddly and just wanted to lie against or on me.
Today, I don't really exist.

(And Val, I'll miss all of you guys, too. Things are just so unsettled, I feel like I can't make any kind of move on anything until I sort out my house situation.)
