lure-Coursing

Zoar, Ohio had it's first annual Dog Fest this weekend. There were agility, disc dog and lure-coursing demos, dock dog competition and many vendors and fun events.

Here is Fred trying out lure-coursing. She really didn't want anything to do with that narrow inside turn with that orange fence on both sides of her... not sure if it's her thing but it was fun to try!

Potential, except she thinks it's a game of tag!! For a pup, good show!
Cute, Monty didn't take naturally to it either, they don't have the hunt and chase down instinct like some dogs but it is fun to try.

Tiggy has the chase instinct something fierce. She chases EVERYTHING that will run.

We've no lure coursing close by though. :(

And I'm worried she'd hurt herself. She runs flat out till she's exhausted ans slips over when she's turning. :x
