Bond - new titles and some fun with his friends

We were at a small show (530 dogs) in Iowa this weekend. I went with a neighbor and friend, and we always have a great time, win or lose. 8) 8)

Bond and I entered conformation both days, but we also entered obedience and rally on Saturday. Bond needed his 3rd legs (qualifying wins) in 2 events to earn titles in each. He had been sitting with these "legs" all winter, so I decided this was the perfect chance to get them done.

Beginner Novice - BN - was 1st up. He did great and scored 192 (out of 200) and got his title, and 1st place.
Rally Novice - RN - was next. He also did well, and scored 95 (out of 100) and again   got his title and 4th place in his class. These were my main goals for the weekend. :yay: :yay:

He also showed in conformation both days, was BOB, but no placings in group.

:cheer: With his new titles, Bond is now: CH Masquerade Madness Moonraker BN RN PT CA CGCA :cheer:

Then we had more fun. We found this group of wild animals, and knew we needed a photo stop. We dodged the storms this morning, and got our pictures. :clappurple:

My friend Donna had 2 of her TFT's - Toy Fox Terriers - Nellie and Story, and her puppy Spectra - Portuguese Pedengo Pequeno (called podengos for short). They come wire or smooth - Spectra is a wire haired.

We got him!!

The whole gang -

Little Story got BOB with me showing her Saturday, and Nellie got BOS Sunday for a Grand CH point. Spectra was there for socialization and experience with travel, motels and all that good stuff.
The drive home was not too cool, as 20 minutes into the drive we were going up I35 and drove with the storm that was streaming up from the south. Luckily, just LOTS of driving rain, and a nasty crosswind....arms and shoulders will be stiff tomorrow. But all went well and we made it home. :phew:

Congrats to Bond on his new titles! Glad you made it home safe!

Bond on a 'gator, seems pretty natural for your boys, nothing they can't handle. Would have loved to have seen a pix with Bond opening wide to match the 'gator but hey, the storm was coming!! Congratulations on the accomplishments for the young boy. Cute little dogs. Understand the winds, couple days of 40--50 mph winds which is OK if you are heading or trailing......but the crosswinds, ouch. Rain??? Heard of it................
Fun, fun , fun weekend!!!

Ribbons, legs, gators oh MY!!!!

Congrats to you and Bond!! :clappurple:
Congratulations!!! to YOU and Bond..... :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:

Love, love, LOVE the pics of the humongous sheepie and the 3 munchkins!!!!!!

Luckily, he still thinks traveling with the littles (and all girls!) is fun!

Today is just lounging around home and catching up on stuff. Then this evening he has his agility weaves class, then we head over to The Paw were I'll be teaching classes this evening. With all this rain overnight and today, I am super glad The Paw has astroturfed play areas - may be wet, but they stay CLEAN! :phew:

Way to go Bond!!!! And Dawn too. 8)

It is always so much more fun to take trips like that when the dog likes it too. Have to laugh at Bond though, does he realize that he is a LOT different than his friends?

You know, I don't know that he does - or if he does, he just doesn't care one bit. He pretty much loves all dogs. And he still loves every few months when we start a brand new class of beginner puppies at school. He just loves puppies and pretty much any dog out there.

Rain - Susan, we got over 3 inches from very early AM until noon. It's water, water everywhere here! Super windy and cold - in the low 40's and feels like about 33 is what it said last time I looked. :( Even saying we might get snow before this all leaves us.
