2014 Sheepiepalooza Auction Proceeds.........

As always, auctions will be held at Sheepiepalooza 2014.

We have had many, many fabulous Sheepdog items up for grabs, and many, many, friendly bidding wars in the past. Personally, I just love to bid...and bid...and bid...(oh..I digress..... ).

Each year a rescue is selected to receive the proceeds.

There are so many great Old English Sheepdog rescues that it is always difficult to select which to donate to.
It takes great people to help these great dogs find their furever home; and you certainly are exceptional people!
We are in awe of the work you all do, and we are honored to help you acheive your goals.

We have chosen Midwest OES Rescue to receive the 2014 Sheepiepalooza auction proceeds. Nita and all the volunteers of this rescue are dedicated, caring and committed to helping every sheepie in need.

I took the liberty of quoting from their website:

""We strive to promote and encourage responsible pet ownership. To ensure humane treatment, compassion and respect for all dogs.""

Brenda (auntybren) from WV. has very kindly offered to 'chair' the auction. We will be posting more information about the details soon.

In the meantime.....

CONGRATULATIONS MIDWEST OES RESCUE

Thank you Brenda for your help ~~~~~~ :ghug:

I have one small item so far - it may be small but it is very, very sweet thing.

I hope to make at least one thing for the auction but I have a bit more distraction at my house now ..... I won't mention any names Bert.

But Karen brought so many cute things in 2012 that I know that I will probably have to get into a "friendly" bidding war with Val over some glitzy item. :P
Rocky and I are excited and very happy to be working the auction this year :yay:

Hopefully, it will be as successful and fun as previous years, some new twists, and surprises along the way

Personally, so very anxious to see Val and Judi relaxed and able to partake of the auction fully for a well deserved change :clappurple:
Brenda--I have some wonderful things for the Auction! :D
ooooooooooo...I can't wait to see all the Sheepie Treasures....(and to outbid YOU...(YOU know who YOU are.....   )
Karen, you are awesome and you ALWAYS bring fabulous items!! :yay: :yay:

I'm going to have my eye on your things, and so will everyone else!!
so will I, Brenda...so will "eye".....

..AND...

I think I have an IN with the Auction Chair..... :?: :?:
OMG! I've been a bit under the radar for awhile with some family issues and totally missed this announcement. It took two forum members to PM and let us know we would benefit from this auction before getting back on here and seeing it! Thanks so much to Val, Judi and all who have made this possible. We look forward to seeing everyone at Sheepiepalooza again and thanking everyone in person.

Would a set of hair bows be an appropriate auction item to bring? I always have a hard time finding ones big enough for Fred or with wide enough rubber bands to hold a large top knot so I've been making my own.
^^^^^^^YES!!!!!!!!!! perfect~~~~~ I'll start the bidding at $5.00..........oops...

so sorry..I just can't help myself!!!!!!
Yes Leslie just perfect!

And I will bid on them too. Yes, I know that I have boys but I never miss an opportunity to bid against "you know who" and drive the price up. It will be fun to see how much she will pay for a hair bow that her dog will probably end up eating. :P

:sidestep:
Yes Leslie, hair bows are perfect. And something that we all need too.

You can see how crazy it gets.....already
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AND SOOO MUCH FUN....AND SMILES...AND HAPPINESS...AND JOY....

LOL, so don't forget the "manly" hairbows too....or holiday themed ones, as many of us with therapy dogs look for seasonal items for our dogs to wear on visits. ;)

And I have an auction item too to bring. :)

Your work is always so nice. I love the bracelet you did for me at Nationals.

You can PM Brenda (Auntie Bren) or she will get in touch with you.
