Tiggy the sneakie sheepie

Tiggy has convinced her Dad that she and Rastus should sleep in the bedroom. The last of my rules left unbroken was 'no dogs in the bedroom at night'. She and Rastus have had their cushions taken to the bedroom when Wayne comes to bed for the past 8-10 weeks. It started while I was staying at my Mom's.

Tiggy was on her best behavior at first but now she must figure it's gone beyond the point of no return. At first it was just waiting her chance if either of us got up during the night. We'd come back to find no room at the inn, as Tiggy would be sprawled out with her head on the pillow taking up more than half the bed and mysteriously suffering from sudden deafness.

But early hours of this morning she thought 'what the heck, I'll squeeze on'. 4am she jumped up .... on me, walked across me and forced a space between us. I few grunts as she arranged her uprights to her liking .... using her feet. A big sigh and the sudden deafness reoccurred. Wayne didn't really wake, I had to put the light on and have words with her ladyship, she seemed to think she was in her rightful place.

It would seem that she is of the opinion that the amenities around here are not up to scratch.

And she's taking matters into her own hands! :twitch:

Well this seems all perfectly sensible. If Tiggy is at all like Virginia, she has numerous rights and entitlements, and it is her right to exercise them. I would expect good sheepieparents to understand!
mim,
if this is gonna continue, see if you can have tiggy put her body against yours and feet towards the perp(aka wayne). when he awakes on the floor at 3am he may have second thoughts about your rule. 8)

:wag:
Oooh! Time to shop for a new bed!

You've heard the saying "move your feet you lose your seat." Sorry but Tiggy is right.
:D :D :D :?
Mine start out on the bed and leave after a 15 minute cuddle session. They just get too hot.
It's sad that Bailey isn't able to get up on the bed any more, but she as her special spot on the floor.

This approach gets my vote! :D
Mmm Maybe you could just make sure you have plenty of bed so hubby just simply rolls out of bed, you have to try not to laugh to loud tho.xx
Sounds perfectly normal to me. So, what's the problem?     :rimshot:
I miss stories of Tiggy's antics, they always make me laugh, tell some more!
Oh my gosh I love this story! SORRY! Sonny does this same thing - Thank goodness he is smaller than a sheepie but he has legs like one. He does this leg Shenanigan business you speak of in his sleep! He hits me in the face, smacks me in the arms, punches and kicks. More often than not ends up sleeping on my head in my hair so I can't move an inch. I actually have a scar near my lip from his fingernail cutting me! I take it as long as I can because I don't want to wake the other dogs up and start playtime. Once I say one name they all come running because just like lays chips ya can't eat (pet) just one! My favorite is when Skye does the same thing! Very rare but there is no getting her off my head when she opts for this spot. She does it when she is scared. Steel is a hair sucker so lets hope this doesn't lead to a 3rd dog on my head. I think I would rather he be the situater kind! Hehe! Here is Skye, I don't know if you can tell but my hair is verrrrrry long and all underneath her.
