can't wait for pics too!!!!!!
My Beau will be walking with us and we're thinking about taking our foster boy Sammy. He's definitely got the temperment for it, I'm a little concerned about him making it the whole way. I figure if he gets tired, one of us can just drop out and wait for him to rest. Wish we could take Madison, but she's just not good in crowds of dogs. :(
One of our volunteers is making pretty green & gold festive/fancy collars for us to wear. Very exciting!!
I hope Sammy can go, it would be a good way to judge his "mental fitness." You might have a real show hound on your hands. Hang a sign on his side pushing the rescue. Poor Madison, it's so sad being such a .....bitch around other dogs.
Have fun!
Our therapy dog chapter always participates in St Peter's (MN) St Pat's parade. But I bet your parade is a LOT nicer weather than one in MN on March 17th! We usually are all bundled up. ;)
I do hope the weather cooperates, Dawn. It's been so lovely the past few weekends and this one looks to be nice, too, with sunshine and temps in the upper 60s. I'm keeping my fingers crossed our luck continues! :crossed: Are you & the boys walking in the parade up there?

Susan, you're right about Sammy. He's a real jewel. A unique case in that he comes from excellent blood lines and we've been trusted to re-home him. He's had some nerve damage along his spine which has left him without the sensors that tell him when he needs to pee or poop. So, he just can't feel the urge to go. Other than that, he's perfect. He's an active, happy, well adjusted 9 1/2 year old sheepie boy. We adore him. :hearts:

As for Madi, well, it is sad. She's just a delight as long as she's at home. She's good with other dogs in her own yard. Out in public, not so much.
We still have a snow pack of nearly 20 inches, plus mountains of drifts and from plowing...

I will miss our parade. :(
It falls on a Monday this year, and the parade is 5pm. That week is the start of our new session of spring training classes, so I'll be doing orientation night for a new set of students.
