Stained coat

Our 5 year old has an area on her head that is stained brownish yellow. Always been like this. Wish i could get rid of it. Dont know if its a skin condition or what its from. Vet and groomer dont know what its from. Groomer seems more concerned about it than vet. Anyone have any ideas. Id like her to be nice and white like she should be. It does not seem to itch or bother her in any way. Any ideas?

Is there a cyst underneath exuding oils? Is she rubbing her head on something that might be staining it? Is someone slobbering on her? Is it near the ears where ear stuff could be draining.

There are eye stain wipes you could try up there. Or wash with grey hair shampoo every so often. Try dabbing milk of magnesia there, let sit and rinse out.
A lot of OES folks recommend Crystal White shampoo. It's an enzymatic shampoo that's supposed to eliminate that staining.
Like Susan says, first try to determine if something is causing it. Once you solve that, you can then work on the staining.
Is there any way for you to post a picture? It might help. Does the hair grow out this color? Specifically, where is the spot located on the head?
