Whaaat?!

All I could see was Tiggy's butt through the door way. And a very cute butt it was too, lying very straight in a lovely down position but (pardon the pun) ........... Tiggy rarely just lies in a nice sphinx position. So ...........

Me: Tiggy come

Tiggy: What? Did I hear something?

Me: Tiggy come!

Tiggy: No I'm busy.

Me: Tiggy come here.

Tiggy: Mommm, not now I'm busy.

Me: Tiggy, what are you doing?

Tiggy: Later Mom, I'm busy.

So I went and checked. She was lying beautifully in the corridor staring at the cat.

Tiggy: The cat can't get to his litter box with me here, 'cause if he comes close I chase him. It's fun!! (Not so much for the cat)

Me: Tiggy come, right now.

Tiggy: Awwww Mom, you're a meanie spoil sport.

isn't it funny; the minute they are THAT interested in something, you know they're into trouble!

Violet used to do that to block China from going out to use the bathroom. Violet also like to push her Milk Bone just out far enough away from to try and intice one of the Aussies to try to come in and get it. I used to ruin that fun quickly. sigh
Hahaa! It could be worse, have you seen the video of the cats not letting dogs pass?? LOL.

   Sounds about like our house.

We had an 85 pound dalmatian/lab mix that got cornered on a bed by a 10 pound siamese cat when my mom was babysitting him for us. She said she heard Bandit sighing heavily and thought he was sick. It turns out her cat had him treed on them guest bed.
Bwaaa! I need Tiggy to come train my sheepie Lyra, who follows to cat around (from a distance like a lovesick freshman...)

My 6-pound, elderly cat is totally the pack leader in my house. I like to think Lyra was easily trained on the grooming table b/c of my mad skillz, but no, she just wouldn't dare hop off with the cat keeping guard. :)
Tilly is boss! What fun to torture the cat.
Gotta love Tiggy and her stubborn will to conquer!!!!!

Mady does something similar, every evening when we're in bed, Mady lies down in the doorway, and Gracie wont dare walk around her without parental escort. So she will stand there and squeak until one of us stands up and "guards" her Mady-crossing. She's my little squeak. :hearts: :hearts:

These bossy girls!

Video with audio of the Madie crossing with request squeak would be great.
We identify with the conversation! (As does most of us with sheepies!)
Our cats work together with my daughter's cat to trap the dogs. Well, my son's dog. 40+lbs of dog trapped by 8 lb cats. Funny.
