| What do you mean pulling "sleep" out of his eyes? Do you mean the "buggers" on the outside of his eyes? |
| Carefully look at eye lashes on top and below. Extra eye goo or eye boggers may mean an irritation maybe caused by rubbing eye lashes, a scratch, any numer of things. Or he has an allergy to something in the house....happens when houses get closed up for winter. If he seems to be suffering, consult a vet about eye lubricants......don't use stuff on your own. I find when the hair is longer the boggers are more common, I suspect dust in the hair. Mean time carefully wash his eyes with plain warm water at least once a day. |
| Thankyou Susan I shall bathe it. His hair is very long on his head and goes in his eyes so I can understand maybe that also dust theres a lit in the house at the moment due to decorating. I shall continue to keep an eye on it and bath it. Yes diane boogers lol we call it sleepy as yiu get it if your sleepy or just woke up |
We call it "sleep" here too.  As mentioned - check out if something is getting in his eye as an irritant. Here I'd say it's from the cold and dry weather - we have super low humidity here in MN in the winter. Cold dry weather. But I know that's not the case where you are. But the house heater running more stirs things up too. |
