China's 10 today!
  HaPpY 10tH bIrThDaY tO mY cHiNa DoLl ChInA aQuA! My beautiful China doll came into my life 10 years ago today around 3:00 in the afternoon. China came from a litter of 9 beautiful Aussies. Her mother was a Tri and her father was a red with green eyes. Of the 9 littermates 4 were females and all had blue eyes. The males looked like their mom. I had the honor of being at China's birth. China's breeder lived next door to us and when Angel started having her pups I was called over to help. The person who had been helping her got called away. So I was able to help with the last 5 pups and China was one of them. She came from a very healthy litter. China has always had a special spot in my heart, I call her my nurse. China layed right at my side during the terrible time in my life when I had a very bad case of the shingles. Each time I woke up for more pain meds, she lay right there at my feet. China is so smart it is a game to try and out smart her on things like getting her in to the bath or through the door to the vet. One time I had to push her, from the back, all the way up the stairs into the vet's office. One of her favorite games is "which hand is it?" I hide something in my hand and switch it back and forth for her to find it. She loves that game. China is dealing with some health issues now....I wish she would be with me forever. So happy Birthday sweet girl, you're my heart.  |

| China would like to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. She and I both made birthday wishes for her. We hope our birthday wishes come true. China is such a clown, we were at the vets Monday, and while we were in the room waiting our turn, she would walk to the door of the room, peek out at the dog down the hall. I was watching her evaluate what was going on. She than would turn around and walk back to me to rub her bum. She did this a number of times while we waited. I could read her mind that she was saying, lets get on with this, I have to get home and take my morning nap. She even had her smile on, which she never has at the vets. She is such a sweetheart. |
