Zeke weighed in at 58.4 lbs today

I ran Zeke by the vet today to have him weighed.
He's now 58.4 lbs.

Remember he weighed 70 lbs when I got him back 2 months ago.

I think 58 is a little light. I'd like to add a couple pounds back; keep him around 60 lbs.

I'll increase his food by a half cup per day (for a total of 3.5 cups per day) & see what that does.

Ok I forget, were you trying to slim him down? If so, great! 60lbs seems good. Gracie is 65lbs and I think she is little (and she is, she's my little baby girl! :D )
Seems right..although, 'little' Heart weighs in at about 52-56 pounds.....the girls seem to be weight conscience......
If you guys recall, Zeke is a really small boy.
Remember Sheepiepalooza 2012 when all the other boy dogs were humping him? I think they thought he was a girl based on his size.

David,
I was trying to take some weight off, per my vet.
What do you feed? My dogs only get two and 1/4 cups daily split am and pm and they are fatsos! But they are very large boned.
Charm weighs 68 lbs and she is a bit chubby. She and Rocky are not too concerned about her girlish figure. He's such a softie!!!!

Kensie scoffs at such light weights. I dare say she's probably lost just a few pounds, probably in the 80's. Not quite a "Wide Load" as before; ribs not evident yet but the fat glob over the sternum is breaking up. (Or it's a fatty tumor  ) She's built like a brick s*house, heavy boned.

Good boy Zeke! Will keep the stress off your joints a bit longer.
I feed him Purina Pro Plan Weight Management formula. Works like a charm.
Good job!

Then there is me, trying to feed the highest calorie food for Bond to have him gain weight. Oh, to be a young male...lol

He eats food that is around 400 kcal/cup (most are in the low to mid 300's) and eats 5 cups per day. Oy!

Dawn,
I was thinking about switching Zeke to a different food, but the thought of buying 2 different foods, and another container, and then managing all that seems like more work than I want right now.
I'll see what effect increasing his amount has and then make a decision after that.
I don't recall Zeke being that small! I'm always struggling to get weight on Tonks; she's a bit thin around 62 pounds; I always wish I could get and keep her over 65. Luna is a plump princess at around 75- but she's down from over 90, so the vet is pleased. Luna is stocky; always has been. But Tonks is a tiny bit taller, and I hate how much I can feel her ribs and spine.
Yeah, Zeke is only about 23" to 24" at his shoulders.
Be careful about trying to add weight back on...it can backfire.

Go more by feel and looks. Can you feel the ribs? Are they sticking out or do you have to press to find them? Does he look more aerodynamic or lumpy/dumpy?

Both of mine are in the low to mid 60's and that is a good weight for them...but if you ask them, they are starving :)
