Weiner came to visit

Yesterday, we had a visit from a Dashound named Weiner Jr. He is only a 2 year old pup and kept my two Aussies on the move. They had so much fun with him. He was pretty fast, but they could keep up with him. He was running all over the backyard and just having a ball. When the Aussies would slow down and lose interest he was back trying to get them to run after him again. Remember China will be 10 on 3 Decimber and Asia just turned 6 in May.

At one point he did go in the bedroom to see Violet, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her wakeup and put her head up. It was so funny to watch. Violet did eventually come out to see the little crazy, but was more interested in seeing the owner of Weiner Jr. Violet does have a thing for men.

Once Weiner left, all the dogs were tired and went to bed.

Whoa, Bear in the Bedroom!

Yeah, little wieners can really move and finding playful companions just makes them all the happier. Sounds like fun times!
I bet they had a great time...and nice and tired is still nice, even when your dogs are into middle age :D
We had a second visit from Weiner Jr and he's staying with us for the weekend. He's is a sweet little boy and the girls don't seem to mind him. He's been approaching Violet, with the respect she expects and he doesn't seem to know what to make of her.

China will play with him for a little while and than disappears so he can't find her. lol Asia has more contact with the boy, and they both seem to play well together.

One of the oddest things I see is that dochhounds remind me of cats. Yes, cats. As I'm sitting in my chair, all of a sudden I have a dog in my lap. No, didn't climb up or beg to come up, just jumped up, how cats do. Of course he loves to sit there, because he feels he has the advantage over Asia, since she' so big. Even with him sitting on my lap, and Asia sitting on the floor next to me she's taller than him. lol I do find it facinating as the two of them size each other up in this seatinf formation. For having such short legs, that guy can really jump. He leaves as quickly as he come too. I will try to take some pics today.
