Advanced cgc

My trainer is getting certified for the advanced cgc test and since lily already has her cgc title, as soon as her paperwork gets in to do the test...lily is taking her advanced cgc tests.

Now, if I turn in the advanced cgc paperwork fast enough, she very well could be the first OES to get the title. The race is on!!! (as long as no one has done this yet...it's only been available for a month)

Thanks :)

It's not too terribly difficult. It is harder than the regular cgc test but if you have done any sort of obedience than your dog should pass. I would say if your dog can do novice rally, you most certainly can pass this test.
Congrats!! :D :D

and I love the star of privacy over the other team...lol
Congratulations! How is it different from the CGC? Did they add exercises or make them longer?

Thanks
It's different. To do it you have to have the cgc first, same with getting the title.

They have to do it in public not in a class setting.

-Dog sits or lies down and waits under control (for 30 seconds)
-Walks on a loose leash in a natural situation (not in a ring) and does not pull
-Walks on a loose leash through a crowd
-Dog walks past distraction dogs present and does not pull
-Sit-stay in small group (3 other people with dogs) For 30 seconds also
-Dog allows person who is carrying something to approach and pet it. My trainer had the person carry a tarp, shook it and threw it next to dog before petting it.
-Dog walks by food and follows owner instructions, “Leave it”
-Down or sit stay-distance (owner’s choice) for 30 seconds
-Recall (coming when called) with distractions present (There was people walking around and my trainer shook a can full of coins for an additional distraction
-Dog will enter/exit a doorway or passageway with owner and remain under control
