Daft plain Daft

It's windy and raining here, what does my daft lump do?

On our walk this morning.

Does he refuse to go out? - nope

Does he want to get home quickly? - nope

Two paces forward stop sniff the air observe what may approach from all directions and to top it all lick/bite the rain coming down.

Move on two maybe three paces yes you got it repeat the above, the only break in this pattern was when he went to the toilet.

This went on the whole walk, yes we were both soaked to the skin, and to top it off he only shook off once we were back indoors 8O

He is one silly dog......

Sam has never minded going out in the rain. He even doesn't care if it's storming like crazy. His mommy isn't so enthused.
None of ours have been to keen on rain but love to lay in a puddle!x
We've been really lucky. Benson is definitely not a rain-dog. :phew:
I can't even get mine out if its raining - unless it involves throwing around a wubba
The joys of living in the desert, rain is not common. Alas, mine are also anti-weather dogs. Harry gets stubborn if it's cloudy or windy, forget rain or snow. K doesn't mind wind or clouds but rain is a no go. Snow ought to be interesting, not looking forward to snowball feet.

Even my Newf was an anti-rain dog.
Very soggy zoomies :wag: :wag: :excited: this morning! woohoo it's raining again this is fun  ................

His 4 wheel drive let go a few times! :excited:

Very silly boy..... he seemed to think charging at me covered in mud was a good game :sidestep:
:hearts: :hearts:

Oscar is just like Archie. He will go outside in torrential rain, and saunter along, sniffing, like it is a beautiful sunny day. :D But he HATES baths. Go figure. He also hates umbrellas.

My first OES, Quincy, was such a good boy. He didn't mind the rain, but would walk happily next to me under our huge golf umbrella. After he pooped, I propped the umbrella up over him, and he would stand perfectly still, so I could pick up his mess and he would still stay moderately dry. I have tried multiple times to walk with Oscar under an umbrella, but he just wheels out from under it and tries tripping me up, barking. It's just easier to get soaking wet and pull out the dog dryer. 8)

Mine don't like rain much, just as well we live in Calgary, nice dry and sunny.
