Zeke lost 5 lbs. so far.
He's lost almost 5 lbs. in the 2 weeks since I got him.  I've been metering his food carefully and he's getting 2-3 short walks per day. But I think his food has been helping the most. I'm feeding him Purina Pro Plan weight management formula. That food is awesome at getting unwanted pounds off a pooch. And his ears are much better, too. No yeast in one & greatly reduced in the other. No more Otomax; instead weekly cleanings with an ear wash solution. I think we're heeding in the right direction.  |

| Good news! His improving health surely helped with the Zoomies. Once we upgraded Kensie's food, the ear problems went away. Pounds are still plastered on as she is food centered. Carrots are a new treat........may they continue to be. Maybe Z can take to carrots instead of dog cookies. |
| Good news for Zeke...and I hope Kenzie moves down the weight loss road too. Chewie snuck up to nearly 80 pounds in July, and he's been a bugger to get weight off of. We've been much less active than normal for the same period, so that's been against us as well. He finally must have at 7.5 yrs hit a normal dog metabolism  As of Monday he was at 75....still more than I like for him in competition. Ideal is 72-73. We have an agility trial this weekend...may my slightly fluffy boy fly over those jumps... |
