A new therapy dog here!!
 I tried not to be nervous so as not to make her tense. The metal dog dish hitting the floor behind her and the offered treat were two scenerios that she passed with flying colors  And I was worried  Now, to mail the paperwork tomorrow. Pet Partners is processing packets submitted two weeks ago, so hopefully will get our official badges, etc soon  So proud of my girl  |

Congrats to you both!! Yay Brenda and Charm!! I hope they are speedy on your paperwork and you 2 can be out visiting soon. Is there a local group for you to join, or do you need to find sites to visit independently? |

Dawn, the evaluator wasn't local and did not specify a particular group. She indicated that libraries and VA hospitals were particularly needy in her area. I do know that there are therapy volunteers in several local settings. If not in place, maybe could begin a local group. The benefits of their experience would be helpful. |
| Congratulation....Charm AND Brenda!!!!! I know how hard it is to pass tests, worrying about your pup ANd your own jitters,,,sounds like you both aced it!!!! Now that the hard part is done, you can enjoy the benefits of being part of a GREAT therapy team....There are no words to discribe how rewarding this special 'job' is!!! As someone here already said, CHARM is, well very CHARMING and will be a favorite of young and old alike!!!!! I assume you ARE coming to NATIONALS????? AND, you WILL be part of the Therapy Parade????? (PLEASE???  ) |

Charm is 2.7 yrs now, time flies  We have always had that goal for us, but it took awhile for her "puppyness " to settle. The test was like the canine good citizen plus a few extra evaluations. We began to review and tweak in January. She could have taken it sooner but evaluators are scarce in our area. So very proud of her  |
