Chewie has a Rally brag!

After getting his RAE (Rally Advanced Excellent - entering both classes and qualifying in both on the same day, and repeating that 10 times)....I randomly entered him for fun. He likes it. We would enter at our local OES Club's Specialty, at Nationals, and picked up more legs (qualifying pairs of scores) as we went. Qualifying (Q) is done by getting a score of at least 70 out of the 100 possible points. You start with 100, and deductions are made if you or the dog make mistakes.

I checked out his stats awhile ago online, and saw we were at 17 legs. There is an RAE2 title - when you get 20 legs. Well, I decided we might as well finish that off! So, we entered and double Q'd at our Twin Cities OES show in June. Bond was going to show at the SE WI show this past weekend, so I entered Chewie on Friday to try for #19.

First we went in for Excellent....and he Q'd :cheer: (He has never not Q'd, but you never know...stuff happens... :twitch: ) Here he is with his qualifying score ribbon:



Then we went through the Advanced class. He Q'd, and also got 3rd place in his class with a 92.

So, now he has 19 consecutive RAE legs. :bow:

Our plan is in place to compete at Nationals this fall in St Louis and go for the title! :go: :go:

I don't know about all the other dogs in StL, but I know the BEST OES will be there! Yeah, Chewie!!!
