Monty had a go at lure coursing
On his first run it took a little whilw to realize what to do: His second run was his best run: The third run was the funniest, he couldn't decide whether to run, or to look at Russ who was videoing and laughing or at me: We probably won't do it again as there is a lot of waiting around for a run. But I met some nice people and Monty had some fun! |

While we were waiting all the other dogs - whippets, grey hounds, standard poodles and jack Russell's were standing by their owners, watching what was going on and Monty was constantly cuddling us, nosing us and looking for our attention and generally being loving as well as watching the dogs run, definitely a different way of doing things from other dogs. |
| That 3rd one is pretty funny! My OES guys are just nuts about it - right from the start. Oddly, it's Riley, my rat terrier (who SHOULD be the one to naturally do this) who doesn't want to chase it. Dogs, dogs....  edit - and I just remembered after I posted -my avatar now is Chewie at the start line for a lure coursing CAT run. Ready to GO! I'm watching the hunt master for the "tally ho" to release, and Chewie is watching the lure. |

There was a grey hound there who had absolutely no interest which was surprising. |
