I just bought my dogs a vehicle

AGAIN! I first had an Yaris and when Langley came along I got the Tuscon. But in past while I have been finding it too tight a squeeze Laika's crate just doesn't fit nicely. I have no room for anything else in the car when it is in there. Last time I went to the city to pick up their food it was piled in the front seat and in every corner. I get raw so I wasn't crazy with the smell beside me.

So as my friend says I am having a mid-life crisis in reverse. I bought a van! Oh the horror! I am a single girl, so it is a little odd. But I don't care the room! Laika's cage fits nicely she should not be able to see as much. She got weird in the car a couple years ago after a dog chased us down. So now she freaks when she sees people and dogs. She is way more relaxed in the crate. Plus it isn't a 2 foot jump into the car for them. Yes it is all about them this vehicle. I pick it up after work. I at least picked out a fun colour "Blue Streak."

I get it. We've always used seat belts instead of crates, but when we picked out our Jeep Wrangler, we had them remove the back seat so the dogs (now just Benson) had a bigger space to relax in. Besides, you're not buying a car for the dogs. You're buying a car for your family!

Enjoy your mid life crisis. :D

Having a vehicle that makes your life easier is a PLUS!
More room is always a big plus!! A single girl driving a van with two adorable sheepdogs on board should make people smile! :D
That's why we got the van. Of course at that time we had 7 dogs! Shoving "only" five in a Jeep was .......fun. Seven wouldn't fit.
What kind of van did you get?
You will look great driving the van, and the "kids" will be more comfortable. That is what its all about anyway :hearts:

And like Karen said, no one will really notice the van
Dodge Caravan, really good deal going on right now. So I went for it.
I have a Dodge Caravan and i love it. Works so great with the girls. Just hit a button and the sliding door opens and the girls jump in, I never thought I would enjoy a van, but I love mine. We have the stow and go seating, so the seats fold right into the floor. I would leave the bench seat up in the way back for Violet to sit/lay on. Asia and China would lay on the floor where the 2 seats where stowed in the floor in the middle of the van. The Caravan is also great for grocery shopping. We also use it for our business. Good luck and enjoy!
oooh I don't have that model with the opening doors with a button press. I didn't like the bucket seats right behind me so I went for the base model that had the bench behind for Langley. Then stow and go the seats behind that and put Laika crate in place. I love it!
Getting a vehicle for the dogs makes perfect sense.

Where are the pictures of Laika and Langley in their new mode of transportation?
Congratulations! I also bought a new Town and Country last week for the dogs! Unfortunately, after just 24 hours it stopped running and had to be towed back to the dealer  I am waiting to hear what they're going to do. they claim they can't find the problem...

The Dodge Caravans are the number one selling van so I expect what happend to me is just a fluke. I had a Dodge Caravan before but the Sandy storm took it away and I hope to replace it with this one!

One color did you get???? Aren't the stow and go seats the best!!!
Blue Streak I will try to remember to take a picture tonight with the dogs in the van :) It is the flashest colour only reason I forgo the extras yep for the colour. :)
