home from the Shindig- it was so much fun!
Friday there was the welcome wine tasting and some socializing in the lobby, then a BBQ dinner, Saturday Amber taught a great grooming seminar, then we went to a beautiful off leash dog park called Fireman's Park and the dogs had tons of fun, then to NOTL for a walk down the main street and over to the lake for some sightseeing and photos. The dogs were certainly stars on this walk and we had to stop many times to talk to people and have photos taken. Then off to Tee Creek Farms for some herding testing and good manners lessons. They even had an agility area that the dogs played in. Dulux ran through the tube and when he got to the end he lay down looking out the hole- not so sure agility would be his thing-LOL. An Italian dinner was served and we all loved bidding on the auction items and winning door prizes. By that time, Dulux was fast asleep and since he is deaf, he slept right through most the bidding and clapping. Unfortunately I had to come home Saturday, so anxiously waiting to hear how Sunday's events are! I have no idea how to post photos here, but have some cute ones of the dogs having fun. Will try to figure that out........... Thanks again to everyone involved in this great weekend! |

It was terrific, I have lots of photos to post and will do tomorrow. I didn't have internet access during our trip so a lot of catch up! I think I need to go to bed soon.  |
