:D We will be leaving this Sunday, the girls will be attending a multi-day spa at Amber's, oh dog vanity thy name is sheepie... :D
WHAT FUN!!!!!!!!!! I really moved to the wrong area.
We are driving in on Wednesday but probably won't get there until late.

Cindy
I'm leaving on Thursday afternoon and will be there Thursday afternoon. :P

How awesome it'll be to not have to spend hours & hours in the car. :)
'Bout time something cool happened near here. :)
soooooooooooo made i do not have the money
Even though I am only a little over a half hour away I just booked a room for Friday night since we have such an early start Saturday morning (not to mention the wine & beer tasting Friday!) I tried to get a room Saturday as well but they are fully booked. Can't wait to meet everyone :)

Love it! I agree :)
I'll be there on Friday

Amber, I'm alone in my room. If there's room your welcome to bunk with me....dogs and all.
We leave on Thursday morning and are spending Thursday night in Columbus, Ohio. We should be at the Shindig by mid-afternoon on Friday.

I think I'll make some signs for our car windows; that way if anyone is heading towards the Shindig; you'll know us on the road!

That's sorta the reverse of what we did our first Sheepiepalooza, we over-nighted in Columbus OH.
We are leaving tomorrow!! :cheer:

We decided to make a roadtrip mini vacation and see some sights along the way. We are actually going to drive way out of the way on the way up. We are going to take 81 up through Virginia--Pennsylvania, Maryland and then on to New York. We have planned stops along the way to several Civil War parks, FDR's place in Hyde Park, maybe the Nixon Library--and David wanted to see the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Then we will drive over and arrive on Tuesday afternoon! :clappurple: :cheer:

So lots to do today to get ready to be out of here tomorrow!! :clappurple: :clappurple:
We are heading out early Friday and will be there later in the day.

Karen,
What's your route to Cooperstown?
I imagine it will be 81N, then 88E, and then rte 7 north into Cooperstown, correct?

And how about the route from Cooperstown to Niagara Falls?
I imagine that would be rte 28 north out of Cooperstown and then pick up I90W in Herkimer,NY, correct?
If you go this way, that'll bring you right thru Syracuse. If so, you ought to stop here for a little break.

Oh, and if you're going thru the Carlisle/Harrisburg area of PA, could you stop & pick up Zeke? :D
We are leaving Wednesday Morning...or there about. DREAD Chicago traffic. We are staying overnight in Toledo...may change that as a co-worker told me crime is high there. There would be "almost" nothing worse than getting your car broken into on vacation.

We should be rolling in late afternoon on Thursday.
Have a wonderful time everyone!!

Mark that sounds about right for the route. I put David in charge of the Maps and Route but what you said sounds familiar. We could stop in Syracuse--I think that we would be through there on Tuesday. PM me your cell # and I will text you mine and we can touch base.
Not sure about the PA part--I do know we were looking for a hotel in Harrisonburg (I think)--maybe it was Harrisburg... You really want me to bring Zeke-- :D Only thing is we aren't going home that way--

I was just kidding about Zeke. I can just imagine my ex when a stranger shows up at her door saying, "I'm here to take Zeke."

PM sent
Plus Virginia is kind of counting on some Mark snuggle time so I think she is ok with not having to share you with Zeke! We have the three girls and the day at the farm I will be occupied with the herding instinct, David will be doing agility demos, so we will need to borrow some hands and eyes to help us. If only Brick had opposable thumbs, he could hold Virginia's leash!!
