Maybe
It's hard to tell sometimes. I thought Barney was going to be HUGE because he had these giant paws when we got him, but now he has grown into them and to me doesn't seem huge, but I just sent a picture to my dad and my dad thought that he is a really big dog (and he has a sheepie)...
So, despite my ramblings, you never really know. Do you know how big his parents are? That is usually a good indication...If they are on the smaller side, chances are your pup might be too, and vice versa...
They're all different, my two girls are at the smaller end of the scale, Dancer is only 45 lbs (closer to 50 with fur) and Sky is 60 lbs. Dancer's father is a 95 lb boy though, and her mother about 70 lbs so we have no idea why she is small...lol.... Sky's parents are around 70-85 lbs and I expect she will be maybe 65-70 at her full growth.
Here's a good thread to look at:

I had the same question because Clyde was huge too-- almost 30 pounds at 12 weeks. At 9 months, his growing has slowed considerably but his paws are still tremendous even at nearly 80 pounds!
ButtersStotch,

I've been reading this thread and find it very interesting about the weight. I took Beau to Dr. Wilson's office this morning and weighed him. He weighs 61 lbs. Do you remember what Clyde weighed at 7 months?

The breeder said that he will be around 80 lbs. Anyway, at this rate, I think maybe closer to 100 lbs.
Karen, I think about the same as Beau. He's 9 months now and somewhere between 75 and 80 so that would be right in line. With Clyde, his immediate background is a bit of a mystery so I have no idea how big his parents were or how big my little monster will be.

Jasper's about the same. At 6 months, he's 65 pounds. He gave me a "hug" last night, and he's almost taller than I am! lol I'm short at only 5'2 though.
Panda is almost 20 mths and she seems to be evening out at 52lbs...she's tiny compared to a lot of other sheepies...Baileysmom's Bailey, I think is 5-6 months old and he is the same size as Panda...we have a play date tommorrow, so I'll update you then....Maybe with pictures....
Karen,
We got Barney neutered at 7 months (he is now almost 10 months) and at that vet trip he weighed 62 pounds. I'm thinking now he weighs a little over 70 (Our vet thought that he would be about 80 in the end too). Right now they grow so fast, but then they kind of let up a little and just more slowly fill out, so maybe Beau is in that pattern too...
Bailey is 5 1/2 months and 53 pounds, so he'll have to be Panda's big brother from now on. Bailey's dad was a big, handsome boy (and his mom was not small either!) so we had a pretty good idea of what we were getting into.
Henri is just over 3 mos. (born on April 1!!) and he's right around 25 lbs. According to the breeder, he tries to keep his dogs around 70 lbs, but my soon-to-be-Mother-in-Law got a OES from the same breeder and he's 7 mos and 66 lbs (but looks about 90 lbs with all the hair). Henri's mother was around 63lbs, not sure about his daddy.
So based on the info from the breeder and the other OES I am guessing betwen 70-80 lbs, but it's strictly a guess. Just more to love if he turns out to be a beast!
Up to the last month Barney, then 8 mo. was 80 lbs, and gaining about 10 lbs/mo. however during the last month the hot weather has kicked in and the walks are shorter, he is eating about 20% less and was just 81+ lbs on his 9th month birthday (July 5). I suspect that his growth rate is slowing down. Also with the addition of Maggie the last 2 weeks, there is probably some stress that has curbed his appetite. Hope to get a post with the full story about Maggie up this weekend when my pics are developed. At the rate he was going I was projecting about 110 lbs, now I doubt he will get much over 90.
OK, thanks everyone. I don't feel that Beau is huge now, maybe more in line with the average OES 7 month old puppy.

How much is everyone feeding their puppy? I give Beau 1 cup in the morning with a tablespoon of canned dog food and repeat in the evening. I was giving him an additional cup midday, however, he was leaving it and the breeder said when that happened to stop feeding him midday (noon).

I have two calls into Jil concerning whether or not she was able to rescue Max. I took my cell phone on my walk with Beau, hoping that Jil would call with some good news. No call yet :(
I feed Panda 1 cup in the am and 2 cups at night, no wet, just dry!
Lemme see...

Both males, my first OES Titan was oversized and came in at a whopping 105 lbs. Winston was on the lighter side at a mere 75-80
