Quack Quack!!

Wow today went shopping, new treats for the dogs, Duck based and OMG they love it, they all nearly took along with fingys, hand nearly my whole arm included. :cow:

They have along with chicken, rabbit, lamb, fish, liver, Kidney, Heart, roo and beef been fed that, but the quacker treat (Duck) is definately on the WOW list.

I have never seen the piglets sooooo keen & all manners went out the door.

Anything unusual out of the spectrum you have fed the fur balls :?:

Mine also like fruit, yep fruity loops hair balls. Banannas, oranges, apples and Mandarins are up there also, as well as top grade tasty cheese. I remember when Syd and Babs were young, DH brought home a generic cheese and both turned there noses up at that and regected it, he thought he was clever, twice the size and half the price  He learnt sheepies have gourmet tastes :P

Only thing I have not tried is Venison or tripe with the fur gang.

Tripe stinks bad
I thought your brought some real ducks
Tripe does smell bad. I used to feed it to them. But hype is hype on that product that is the last to be eaten in the wolf world for a reason. So I stopped. Right now I have 33 lbs of Mackerel at 1 lb each. That is nasty. I was hoping they would just take the fish and eat it. Langley had a good go at it. Laika prissy laid by it and that is it. So while it is still half frozen I now have to chop it up YACK! Laika still picks up pieces and drop them on the floor  She eats outside now. The have eaten all you mentioned below except the Roo. They have had freeze dried ostrich treats.
I bet duck is popular. The last couple of years MO ate duck and sweet potato food. Granted it was processed and to me smelled like dog food. She was a real potato dog......tatertots being heaven to her. Unfortunately she was 12 or 13 before she discovered them, "Where have these been all my life?" Sweet potatoes were also popular.

Jack was our food glutton. Absolutely nothing was turned down. If not sure, just swallow. Giving him pills was a breeze. I remember the first time I brought home bananas and nearly needed a whip and chair to keep him away from the fruit. He too loved oranges and mandarins.

I suspect venison would be no problem. Tripe was accepted by the K9s here, it was the people who had trouble dealing with it. Mackerel was great treat as was any other oily fish.
I thought this was a herding thread gone bad...

Buster says pickles (pickled cucumber) give me, give me, give me.
Dehydrated Venison lung and liver...no smell to entice them, but once they eat a piece and get it wet in their mouth...look out!! They know what it is and will turn themselves inside out for it!
When it comes to meat or fish they'll eat about anything. China will eat apples, bannas, oranges pretty much whatever I'm eating. Violet will sometimes eat bananas, but loves carrots and string beans. Asia's not crazy about fruit unless the apple has caramel on it.
Archie is a health freak, he actually likes Celery (with or without peanut butter)

And he is properly normal in my opinion as he loves Marmite on toast!
